CAPS ET MARAIS D'OPALE REGIONAL NATURE PARK

The park offers a diversity of magnificent and incredible landscapes (coastline, limestone hills, La Hem valley, “bocage boulonnais”).
The cultural and built heritage is just as amazing.
It's full of producers and craftspeople, and has some great places to eat and have fun.

LES 2 CAPS - A MUST-SEE

This is THE coastal area to visit during your stay.
A “Grand site de France”since 2011, the 2 Capes, although both different, are complementary and offer a magnificent landscape facing the English coast.
The atypical villages, les Monts de Couple, de Sombre and The “Path of Customs Officers" (Sentier des Douaniers) will surprise you with their views. All the beaches are different and each more beautiful than the other.
We know this area inside out and will be delighted to advise you on the best spots and addresses.

THE BOULONNAIS

Boulogne Sur Mer and the surrounding area is full of surprises, including the bocage of the hinterland, the fishing port, the old town, Nausicaa and its restaurants, shops and markets.
Spending a day here can be a great idea for a day out, and you'll never get bored.

Calais

The dragon will dazzle the youngest and surprise the adults.
The dyke, recently renovated, is pleasant and offers a wide range of activities.You'll be spoilt for choice for lunch or a drink (seafront, Place d'Armes).
The Cité de L'Europe and its dozens of shops will delight shopping fans.

SAINT JOSEPH VILLAGE

The 70s come to the village. Multi- generational.

THE EPERLECQUES BLOCKHOUSE

The largest blockhouse in Northern France. Of course, there are other museums and war site to visit in the surroundings (ask us).

THE ARDRES LAKE

Ideal for walking and having fun with family and friends.
Water sports centre, nature trail, play park.

THE TOURNEHEM NATIONAL FOREST

Undulating, dotted with chalk quarries and numerous footpaths.
Ideal for a nature walk.
Don't forget to visit the Notre Dame de La forêt chapel.

AMUSEMENT PARK

Féeryland and Eurolac are 15 minutes away from the campsite.
Dennlys park 35 kms away and Bagatelle less than an hour.
Nausicaa, Europe's largest aquarium, is a must-see.

THE SOMME BAY

One of the most beautiful bays in the world, one of France's top sites, breathtaking scenery, a rich cultural heritage, incredible architecture and local producers to discover without moderation.
Little tips : The bay of the Somme railway is ideal to discover the bay effortlessly.
There are also some great hiking trails and a cycle route.

Arras

One of the most beautiful towns in the region is only one hour away from the campsite.
Its squares, its belfry, its citadel, its parks…
Everything is magnificent. Ultra dynamic, there is a bound to be festive, sportive or cultural events an offer, ask around.
On the outward or return trip, take the opportunity to explore the slag heaps of the coalfield, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
